Olistica Kitchen

Rosemont, Montréal

This design consultation was created for a client seeking to bring warmth, boldness, and Mediterranean vibrancy into her multifunctional dining space — a room deeply connected to her kitchen, her heritage, and her rituals.

Rooted in her love of maximalism, we shaped a palette of forest green and sun-soaked ochre, layering bold color choices with more subdued tonal variations to create harmony and flow. The proposal included thoughtful paint strategies, placement of existing furniture, repurposed pieces, and subtle biophilic touches — including a growing vine around her skylight and natural materials like wood, beaded curtains, and ceramic accents.

While most elements already lived in the space, my role was to help her see it differently — to offer a roadmap that reconnected her with her Italian roots and brought structure, cohesion, and poetry to the room she uses for everything from shared meals to slow vegetable prep.

The final concept struck the perfect note: a lived-in Mediterranean garden room, filled with warmth, purpose, and joy.
